EYB London athletes hit the roads in the Nike Run London 2006!!!

Some inspirational EYB London athletes have been in serious training over the past few months for an event that as become an integral part of London life. Over the past few years, Nike have presented an annual 10km running race that sees thousands of Londoners earning their way towards Hyde Park. Each year sees something new added to the vibe which makes the event an amazing spectacle to be a part of!! The standard super bright loooomo tops are always a major feature of this awesome event, and this year saw a major North vs South battle hence the green and orange outfits on display.

Last Sunday at 10am, Run London 2006 saw 8 (2 north vs 6 south) EYB London athletes decend apon Hyde Park. Here's an introduction to the 8 victorious EYB London athletes (in the pic above from the left):

It's awesome to see you guys getting out there and loving the vibe. Well done athletes!!!! Rumour has it that there is a Half Marathon looming in the next few weeks for certain EYB London athletes! The Barnes Green Half Marathon. takes place on the 29th October, and Colleen Cairns, Grant the Guru, Nic V, and Carl Husselmann (first EYB UK athlete) are confirmed for the run so far. Rumours are that Cappie will also be making a late charge!

Awesome, the 29th October will see EYB Cape Town athletes taking on the Grape Run Half and EYB London athletes taking on the Barnes Green Half... inspirational stuff!!
