Yesterday 12 'earn your' athletes arrived at Kloof Nek Car Park for one of Cape Town's most beautiful hikes. The weatherman produced another cracker despite the cape doctor proving rather fierce at times.

We all headed out on the Pipe Track for a long but gentle stroll towards the base of Corridor Ravine, where some tired legs made their way up this beautiful route. We then made our way to the inspirational Tranquility Cracks where we all chilled out and soaked up the incredible views across Camps Bay towards Lion's Head. I'll let the photos tell the rest of the story.

We then made our way towards the Cable Station, which proved a little more undulating than expected. Some athletes with time constraints, decided to descend down the Kasteelspoort Ravine and back along the pipe track to the Car Park.

After some 4 hours and among thousands of tourists who had made use of the good weather to summit the mighty Table Mountain, we enjoyed a well earned drink to celebrate a beautiful morning out on the mountains. It all tastes so much better if
you've earned it!!
